1. Department of Pathology at Adesh Medical College & Hospital , provides its diagnostic services in anatomic pathology, cytopathology, hematology and clinical pathology .
2. It is well equipped with facilities in automated tissue processing, IHC antigen retrieval system, cryostat, cytocentrifuge, coagulometer, hematology auto-analysers, automated stainers in hematology, cytology and histopathology, automated urine analyser, automated ESR , teaching and research microscopes.
3. A 24 x 7 Hematology and Clinical Pathology laboratory caters in-patients and out- patients. This laboratory caters its services to surrounding districts and rural areas.
4. The External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) is tied up with AIIMS, New Delhi.
5.The department has been sanctioned six post graduate, MD , seats by NMC from the academic year 2023-2024.
6.To maintain high standard of medical education at Adesh Medical College, the department aims to achieve eminence in teaching as well as research via its training
programs for undergraduate medical students and the numerous interdepartmental research projects. All faculty members are trained in competency based medical education (CBME) as formulated by National Medical Commission.
