The department of Surgery has five units and the faculty is highly qualified and well trained to perform all open and laparoscopy procedures. The department is well equipped and having modern operation theatres and intensive care unit. The department has served as platform for many senior residents and assistant professors for admission to surgical superspecialties.

The college and department holds regular clinical and death review meeting which will definitely improve the patient care and teaching.

The department is regularly participating in field camps in rural areas for needy poor patients.

injuries in laparoscopic cholecystectomy ”
5. To compare the  outcomes  of collage dressing, and chlorhexidine  paraffin  gauze  dressing 
onsplit skin thickness graft donor site.
6. Comparative evaluation of factors affecting Surgical Site Infections in elective and emergency
surgeries.
7. A comparative study between fibrin glue versus polypropylene suture for mesh fixation in
Lichtenstein inguinal hernia repair.

9. Evaluation of pre op oral acetazolamide vs Intraoperative intraperitoneal saline infusion in pain

We have a large Air-conditioned OPD Block with a systematic registration counter spacious waiting area and all specialties and super specialties OPDs. Doing all kinds of procedures related to Gen Surgery & Super specialty Elective and Emergency.
