World Thalassemia Day Awareness Program at Adesh Hospital ✨
On the occasion of World Thalassemia Day, a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at Adesh Medical College & Hospital in collaboration with Rotary Club Shahabad on 8th May 2026. 🩸🤝
The initiative aimed to support thalassemia patients and spread awareness about the life-saving importance of regular blood donation. ❤️
👨⚕️👩⚕️ A special Live Awareness Session was conducted for families of known thalassemia patients, where an expert panel of doctors educated parents and attendees about: 🔹 Symptoms of Thalassemia

🔹 Importance of Regular Blood Donation
Parents actively participated in the interactive session and received guidance from doctors by asking several important questions. 💬🩺
🎓 A Guest Lecture was also organized for students to spread awareness about thalassemia and emphasise the importance of early screening and social responsibility.
👏 The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and successfully delivered the message of awareness, compassion, and humanity toward thalassemia care and voluntary blood donation.
