Adesh Medical College & Hospital proudly organized the White Coat Ceremony for its first-year MBBS students on 13 December, marking a significant milestone in their journey into the noble medical profession.
A total of 250 undergraduate medical students donned the symbolic white coat and took the professional oath, reaffirming their commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centric medical practice. The occasion was made even more special with the presence of over 500 proud parents, who witnessed this memorable moment in their children’s academic lives.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and service to humanity. The professional oath was administered by Dr Poonam, formally welcoming the students into the medical fraternity.
The students were blessed by Dr H. S. Gill, Chairman, Adesh Group, and Mrs Kamaldeep Kaur, General Secretary, Adesh Welfare Society, who extended their best wishes for a successful and meaningful medical career.
Addressing the gathering, Dr H. S. Gill, Chairman, AMCH, emphasized the values of humility, dedication, and compassion as essential qualities for every doctor.
