AMBALA – The Department of Respiratory Medicine at Adesh Medical College marked World COPD Day 2025 with an impactful awareness programme centered on the theme “Short of Breath, Think COPD.” The event brought together faculty and students to highlight the rising burden of COPD and the importance of early diagnosis. 🫁✨
Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Navdeep Singh and coordinated by Dr. Nitin Tangri, Head of Respiratory Medicine, the programme featured a symposium, expert discussions, and a vibrant poster competition. 🎤📚
Dr. Navdeep Singh, Lamba (Principal) Adesh Mediacal College- in his address, emphasized the importance of early COPD recognition and expressed concern about rising vaping trends among youth, urging everyone to take persistent breathlessness seriously. 🚭⚠️
Final-year MBBS students Karan, Kunal, and Harshita delivered insightful talks on updated COPD management aligned with global standards. 👩⚕️👨⚕️📖
The poster competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across batches. 🖼️🎉 The winners were:
