Intro Details : Dr RS Grewal retired from the Armed Forces in April 2020, as Director General Medical Services (Army), after which he served as Vice Chancellor Sikkim Manipal University till July 2023. He was appointed as Honorary Surgeon to the Hon’ble President of India in 2019. He has been Professor & Head of the Integrated Dept of Dermatology, Armed Forces Medical College and Command Hospital (SC) Pune; and has more than 28 years teaching experience. He was a Member (PT) of the Medical Advisory Council of (National Medical Commission) in 2023, and Vice President of Indian Association of Dermatologists Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL) in 2008-09. He has been bestowed with the The Teacher Par Excellence Award by IADVL; and is a recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal conferred by the Hon’ble President of India; in addition to many other distinguished professional and academic awards.

Our reidency program is designed to equip you with the knowledge & skills needed to excel in dermatology. You will acquire knowledge through diverse range of clinical cases, case discussions, procedures, dermopathology, dermatological surgeries. A comprehensive educational experience in form of various seminars, group discussions, journal clubs, case presentations will be provided in the department.
We provide excellent patient care. Our expert team is experienced in diagnosing & treating a wide range of skin conditions, from common to rare. We provide an oppotunity to our post graduate residents to work closely with patients under the guidance of our faculty.
Our hospital organises various camps at rural, suburban & urban centres. We offer screening, diagnosis and free treatment to the community in camps. We also promote skin health, need of maintaining personal hygiene & awareness about skin diseases.
