National Task Force Chairman for Tuberculosis, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhardwaj visited Adesh Medical College & Hospital, Shahabad (M), Kurukshetra. He was accompanied by Dr. Sandeep, Dy. Civil Surgeon-cum-District TB Officer (Kurukshetra) and Dr. Sukhwant Singh, WHO Consultant today.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhardwaj applauded the efforts of Adesh Medical College and Hospital in following the flagship program of Hon’ble Prime Minister, India to End TB by 2025 in true spirits.
Lt. Gen. Dr. N.S. Lamba, Principal, reiterated that the College will continue to support National TB Eradication Program of Govt. of India. The Chairman, Dr. H.S. Gill further told that the Institute is committed to provide free medical treatment to MDR/XDR TB cases as per MOU signed with Govt. of Haryana. Dr. Nitin Tangri, Professor and Nodal officer of NTEP Program in the Dept. of Respiratory Medicine also accompanied the team.
