Introduction: Dr. Reecha Madaan has done B. Pharm from MDU Rohtak (1999), M. Pharm from Panjab University Chandigarh (2001) and PhD from NIMS University Jaipur (2014). She has more than 23 years of teaching and research experience. Her research area includes exploring Traditional Plants for various pharmacological activities and role of natural polymers, gums and mucilage as pharmaceutical excipients in Drug delivery. One of her research work on isolation of Natural molecules from plant sources is appreciated by Sami Laboratories, Bengaluru. She has guided 8 post graduate Students and 03 PhD student. She has published more than 70 research papers and filed 08 patents (02 patents granted). She has authored one books entitled “Text Book on Herbal Drug Technology” and edited one book entitled “Herbal Bioactive based Drug Delivery System”. She has delivered many invited talks in different national and international conferences and seminars, and chaired various technical sessions in different national and international conferences. She is life member of various national societies like IPGA, APTI, SOPI and Society of Pharmacognosy.
Awards and Achievements:
• Performed duty of convener of International Scientific conference held at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand during 22-24 June, 2018 organized by Universal Research Foundation.
• Nominated APTI women forum member (North Zone) (2016-2021).
• Received Best oral presentation award at 5 ISPBS – 5th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, April 26-28, 2019 at Cappadocia Turkey.
• Teacher’s Excellence Award 2019: Most collaborative Teacher by Chitkara University, Rajpura on 6th April 2019.
• Certificate of appreciation for outstanding contribution in overall development of Pharmacy Profession in Punjab State on occasion of celebrating “75th year of PHARMACY ACT, 1948” on 4th March 2022.
• Certificate of appreciation from AV de Baynast ALCIMED Paris France.
• Delivered key note address on theme “Future of Artificial intelligence in Healthcare” in 2nd International conference on computational Modelling, Simulation and Optimization 23-25th June 2023/ Bali Indonesia.
• Certificate of Recognition by INSC, Institute of Scholars, July 2023.
• Prof Bhupesh Verma Memorial Best Teacher Award by Pharma Lok in National Pharma Summit 2024.
