History

Accident trauma is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in India. India has the highest accident rate in the world, with 35 accidents per 1,000 vehicles, compared to 10 accidents per 1,000 vehicles in wealthy nations. The establishment of Adesh Medical College and Hospital(AMCH) in 2015 was done so with the intention of managing trauma patients. Due to its highway proximity, AMCH has experience treating a variety of trauma patients. The hospital’s trauma emergency department is operational around-the-clock.
